ABOUT QUEUE QUEUE
Named “Best New Local Act” as part of the The Austin Chronicle’s 2017 Music Critics Poll, Queue Queue is a three piece all female ensemble from Austin, TX known for using loops, heavy atmospheric guitars, vocal harmonies, bass, and drum kit to create their post punk/psych pop sound. A fan describes the vocal interplay: "As if Carpenter, Hynde, and Quatro got together and did shrooms while listening to Sonic Youth."

Members of Queue Queue are Mary Streepy (from the electronic performance art band,The Buglies) on drums/vocals/guitars, Austin Music Hall of Fame recipient, Carrie Clark (of the psychedelic noise pop band,Sixteen Deluxe) on guitar/vocals and Claire Hamilton (of chill wave/dream pop band,Paraguay) on bass and vocals.

Describing the sound, KUTX recently shared on their website, “It was a stellar debut made by Queue Queue with their four-song Monster EP, of course just a glimpse into the cosmic awesomeness of searing distortion and hypno-shoegaze waves on their subsequent self-titled release. There’s no denying the punk and psych coursing through their collective veins”.
